About the Massry Center

Since its unveiling, the Massry Center for the Arts has been hailed as a Capital Region treasure—a creative showcase not only for the Saint Rose community, but for distinguished artists, musicians, vocalists, and orchestras from around the world.

Its 46,000 square feet include, among many other features:

21 soundproof practice rooms

Located in the William Randolph Hearst Music Wing.

Picotte Recital Hall

The acoustically superior Kathleen McManus Picotte Recital Hall and other concert spaces, which host a full slate of musical performances: orchestral works, chamber music, Latin jazz, zydeco, and more.

Smart classrooms throughout the Center

About the Hearst Center

The Hearst Center for Communications and Interactive Media houses our Music Industry Program. Here you will find our main recording studio, MIDI lab and mixing rooms.

Recording Studio

Compose, engineer, mix, and play to your heart’s content in our state-of-the-art recording studios, audio post-production rooms, television and radio studios, computer labs, and showcase studio.

Studio G3 – your own club

It’s fresh, it’s state of the art, and it’s yours (and your classmates’). Saint Rose’s newly reimagined performance space, G3, features a band-new steel balcony with control room, upgraded sound and video, energy-efficient lighting, and capacity of 238 (if you have more fans, there’s broadcast capability).
